Meet our Springboard Resident, Tatayana!
Tatayana has dreamed of becoming a lawyer since she was just 12 years old. Her inspiration came from the attorney who helped her obtain residency in the United States—an attorney who had just graduated from law school and won her case as her very first. That moment sparked a passion in her to help others, just as she had been helped. Originally, she wanted to become an immigration lawyer, but over time, she realized that true change happens through shaping the laws themselves. Now, she is pursuing a degree in political science with the goal of one day making a lasting impact on immigration policy.
Currently, Tatayana is studying at the State College of Florida’s Bradenton campus and plans to continue her education at the University of South Florida and next stop… Law School!
