The Springboard Program

Serving Young Adults Aging Out of Foster Care or Experiencing Homelessness
SUBMIT A REFERRALDONATE

20,000 YOUNG ADULTS AGE OUT OF FOSTER CARE WITHOUT A PERMANENT FAMILY. OUT OF THOSE 20,000:

96% immediately enter chronic poverty.

70% are arrested at least once by age 26

46% experience homelessness by age 26.

SPRINGBOARD SERVES AS A SOLUTION.

The Springboard Program is Everyday Blessings’ response to the crisis facing young adults ages 18-22 who have aged out of foster care without family support or those experiencing homelessness.

Approximately 20,000 young adults age out of foster care each year in the United States without a permanent family. These young individuals face considerable challenges, including unstable housing, limited access to education and employment opportunities, social support, and the lasting emotional and psychological impacts of trauma.

Our program serves as a solution by springboarding young adults aging out of foster care into independent living by providing them with comprehensive support through stable, fully furnished housing, mentorship, practical life-skills training, and support in school, work, and wellness. We help young adults move from survival mode to lasting independence.
