Children enter foster care when it is no longer safe for them to remain in their home. This can occur for many reasons, including abuse, neglect, abandonment, parental substance abuse, incarceration, untreated mental health challenges, or other circumstances that prevent a caregiver from providing a safe and stable environment. Foster care is intended to provide children with protection, stability, and support while families work toward reunification whenever possible.

At Everyday Blessings, our role is to be a temporary solution that ends once a parent can get their life on track or a relative, guardian, or adoptive family agrees to raise the child/children involved. During a child’s time in our care, we focus on providing a nurturing home where children and brothers and sisters can remain side by side—while we meet each child’s physical, emotional, educational, and social needs with compassion and care.

Our House-Parent Model is what makes Everyday Blessings unique. Each cottage is led by dedicated live-in House Parents who reside on campus full-time, providing children with the consistency and stability they need to thrive. Unlike traditional shift-based care, there are no rotating staff members. The same adults who tuck children in at night are the ones who wake them up in the morning, take them to school, attend doctor appointments, celebrate milestones, and share everyday experiences like haircuts, movies, and family outings.

This family-style approach creates meaningful relationships, a sense of normalcy, and the secure attachments that are essential for healing and healthy development. By providing consistent, caring adults in a true home environment, we help children experience the love, connection, and belonging every child deserves.

Nestled on six beautiful acres, our campus is designed to provide children with a safe, stable, and nurturing place to call home. The campus features three residential cottages where children live alongside our dedicated house parents through our unique live-in house parent model, providing around-the-clock care in a family-style environment.

In addition to our cottages, the campus includes a multipurpose building that serves as a hub for homework, tutoring, therapy sessions, recreational activities, and donation storage. We also have a full-size commercial kitchen and dining hall where children and staff gather for meals and fellowship, as well as administrative office space that supports our daily operations.

Every aspect of our campus is intentionally designed to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and social needs of the children in our care while creating a sense of normalcy, belonging, and family.
